Art Classes for High School Students

Charcoal and pencil sketches of people and still life.

Classes for students ages 14-18+

Students at the high school level are ready for focused  in-depth  training to support a strong artistic foundation in drawing and painting.  We welcome beginners and encourage students in steady creative and skill based development.  Our classes for High School students are combined with our evening program for adult learners.

Fall Classes for High School Students

Drawing is the art underling all  forms of visual expression.

A foundational  class that will help you draw better and with confidence.  Perfect for beginners and all levels.

The course presents a series of drawing demonstrations and exercises that address observation, technique, and key elements of composition: shape, placement, form, space, line, value, perspective, movement, and pictorial focus.

A course closely modelled on the Drawing & Composition class I took many times as a student. It was the course that gave me the confidence to go out and draw just about anything!

All levels. Class demonstrations and individual instruction.
