Description

A figure drawing class for everyone.

This course progresses through a series of core techniques for artistic representation of the 3-dimensional human form.

Working with the live nude model, each lesson develops key skills in visualizing movement, space, form, and proportion. Attention is given to different uses of line, value, and artists’ anatomy.

Who is this class for?

All levels.   A perfect class for beginners as well as those with experience.

Figure drawing is a foundational practice for all art students and artists. Those who work in other genres (landscape, still life, portrait, illustration, fashion and design) will appreciate the benefits of figure drawing.  It is the time honoured way of acquiring skill in visualizing a dynamic subject!
